Read for your Family Capital Planning Review?

Achieving your family's goals may be close than you think. It starts with a simple phone call.

Schedule a brief 20-minute call.
No documents required. No obligation.

Are you actually on track for your child’s future?

Saving for college. Investing for their future. Building options.

When the stakes involve your children, clarity matters. Most families are doing something. A 529. A savings account. Maybe a brokerage account.

But very few have a clear, structured plan.

What I see repeatedly:

  • Money spread across accounts with no clear strategy
  • 529 plans used without understanding limitations or trade-offs
  • Assets that appear diversified but carry overlapping risk
  • No clear answer to: “Will this actually be enough?”
  • No visibility into how market changes affect long-term outcomes
  • Confusion between saving money and building a plan

When the goal is your child’s future, having a clear plan can provide guidance as you navigate one of the most important things in your life: your family's future.

And you don’t have to figure this out on your own.

Financial Capital Planning Review

In this review, we:

Break down how you are currently saving and investing for your child

Evaluate 529 plans, custodial accounts (UTMA/UGMA), and other assets

Identify overlap, inefficiencies, and hidden risks

Analyze how your current structure behaves under different market conditions

Evaluate whether your current path aligns with your goals and timeline

Walk through trade-offs between different approaches (flexibility vs. tax advantages, control vs. restriction)

Provide clear direction on potential pathways moving forward

This is not account setup. This is not a product recommendation.

This is a structured analysis designed to answer:

“Are we actually doing this the right way?”

Family Capital Planning Review — The Process

Step 1 — Initial Call

We begin with a brief 15–20 minute call to understand your current setup, your goals for your child, and what you’re trying to accomplish.

This ensures the review is the right fit before moving forward. No obligation.

Step 2 — Intake & Data Review

If you decide to proceed, you’ll complete a short intake and share relevant details:

  • Accounts (529, savings, brokerage, retirement if relevant)
  • Current contributions and balances
  • Timeline and goals

We guide you through this to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Step 3 — Planning Review Session

After completing the analysis, we meet to walk through:

  • How your current structure is actually positioned
  • Where risk, overlap, or inefficiency exists
  • How your plan performs under different scenarios
  • Whether your current trajectory aligns with your goals
  • What adjustments may improve clarity and outcomes

Step 4 — Clarity & Next Steps

At the conclusion of the review, you will leave with:

  • A clear understanding of how your current setup works
  • Visibility into risks you may not have been aware of
  • A structured view of potential paths forward
  • Confidence in what decisions need to be made next

Step 5 — Optional Ongoing Support

Some families choose to continue working together beyond the review.

Where appropriate, this may include:

  • Ongoing portfolio oversight
  • Implementation support
  • Adjustments as your child’s timeline evolves

There is no obligation to move forward. This step is entirely optional and based on your needs.
